We hope you all had a great Christmas break and while the celebrations will continue until the New Year we still have a old god infused orc to kill, a crazy goblin to knock some sense into and some ehm.. old boxes to smash up!

Our last raid of 2013
Our raid on Sunday 29th December will be our last raid of the year, it's fantastic to see some of you could fit in this extra day in the middle of all the celebrations as it will really help with our progress in the New Year. There will be no raid on Tuesday 31st December, because it's New Years Eve of course! Our aim for the raid on Sunday will be to kill as many bosses on heroic as possible.

Raids will continue as normal from Thursday 2nd January 2014. Our next plan of action will be to extend in our first full raiding week, this is to ensure we can kill everything on heroic and move on to our next progress focus, Malkorok.

Normal or Heroic?
We know that a couple of you have been asking to clear normal to kill Garrosh, but we are so far into heroics now that we feel we can make better use of our raiding time by rekilling bosses we have already killed on heroic and aiming for more progress.

Looking at the amount of loot that gets disenchanted from normals, the benefit of killing heroic bosses for improved drops outweighs the need to kill the few normal bosses we have left for the chance of very few item upgrades. Everyone in the team is ready for heroics (you have all proven this), so we believe that heroics should be our primary focus.

As we will be using some weeks as raid extensions, there is a chance of killing the last few end bosses on normal for tier pieces, but this will always be dependent on killing our progress focus first. We will try to keep you all updated on the raid plan from week to week, as we know you like to plan additional rolls.

Mythic Raiding
As some people have been asking about our plans for this, we thought it would be an ideal opportunity to let everyone know what our plan is.

The plan is of course, to raid Mythic in WoD. We are aware that some guilds have started to merge, form 25mans or even create two 10man teams. At the moment we are considering all of our options, but WoD isn't even in beta yet so we want to keep focusing on progressing through SoO.

We have already been working on looking at a variety of options for the move into 20man raiding, but we want this transition to be as undisruptive as possible. When we have a few ideas that have the potential to work closer to WoD, we will share it with you all for input and a final decision as it will effect us all. Until this time, we are dedicating the majority of our focus on the present, while doing some background work on planning for WoD.
