Some of you already noticed this being done today, we are simply adding a social rank to give the normal team a rank of their own. This is easier for us to track who we have for this team, as we do for the heroic team and will help with planning for our Mythic team.
Raider - heroic team raiders
Member - normal team raiders
Social - socials, friends/family, 'retired' raiders and normal team reserves
These ranks may be altered after the raid today (Monday 26) so do not panic, we are still sorting through everyone.
In conjunction with the slight rank alteration, we have updated the normal team roster which you can view here.
The normal team has successfully killed 6 bosses in one raid night for 2 weeks now, which shows us this team has a lot of promise.
We want to give people an incentive to put in the effort required to raid normal and use a separate rank as a way to reward these people. We will also be providing feasts for normal raiders and some guild repairs, as well as helping with enchants when we can.
Tactics and Progress
We will continue to run flex raids on a Monday to iron out tactics until we can switch to raiding normal more often. To help with this people should make an effort to research tactics so we can get more progress done. We have links to all Siege of Orgrimmar Normal tactics in the Tactic Discussion forum.
Recruitment
We are keeping recruitment open for this team at the moment, as we are still getting a lot of interest from people wanting to join this team. This gives people on reserve an opportunity to fill any remaining spots we have (mainly DPS and potentially a tank) before we start bringing in new people.
We will be continuing on Siegecrafter on Tuesday as we made some progress on him. Depending on how this raid goes we will decide whether or not to extend.
Recruitment
Recruitment will remain open for our heroic team as we are always interested in hearing from skilled individuals and people that may want to raid with us in Warlords of Draenor when we make the transition into Mythic raiding.
We are not looking for anything specifically, especially for Mythic as we have no idea what we will need yet!
The main forum update is simply adding a Heroic Team and Normal Team section to the raiders forum. This is to separate specific announcements and news for each team as needed.
We have also added a progress icon for each team on the left of the site as we felt both teams progress should be celebrated.
Rank alterations ingame will mean some forum updating of ranks but this will not affect anything, it is just background work that will be done throughout the day.
